“Sweet Dreams  Lyrics (Are Made of This)” is a song by the British Fresh wave music duo Eurythmics.

The tune is the title track of their record of the exact same title and has been released as the fourth and final single from the record in early 1983.

Its music movie helped propel the song to number two on the UK Singles Chart and number 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

It had been the first single released by Eurythmics in the united states.

Information of Sweet Dreams Lyrics:

Song Structure:

Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart composed the tune after that the Tourists had divided and they shaped Eurythmics.

Although both of them broke up as a couple, they continued to operate together.

They had been interested in digital music and purchased new synthesizers to have fun with.

And began playing another synthesizer, and starts of this tune emerged from both dueling synths.

Based on Lennox, the lyrics revealed the unhappy time following the breakup of the Tourists, when she believed they were”in a fantasy world” and whatever they were pursuing was not likely to take place.

She explained the song as stating: “Look at the condition of us.

Adding”I had been feeling quite vulnerable. The tune was a reflection of the way I felt: despairing and nihilistic.”

Stewart, however, believed the lyrics too gloomy and also added the”hold up your head, going on” lineup to make it even more uplifting.

Music video:

The movie received heavy airplay on the then-fledgling MTV station and is widely regarded as a classic clip in the early-MTV era.

The audio movie starts with a fist pounding on a desk, using the camera panning around show Lennox at a boardroom, together with pictures of a Saturn V launch projected onto a screen behind her, and that can be replaced by a shot of a bunch walking down a road.

Stewart has exhibited scanning to a computer (really an MCS drum ).

The camera cuts Lennox and Stewart meditating on the desk. Stewart is next shown playing cello at a field.

The spectacle then returns to the boardroom, with Lennox and Stewart lying back on the desk, and a bunny walking.

Stewart is revealed typing on the computer, together with the bunny chewing something right alongside him.

The scene cuts to the duo at a field, with a herd of cattle, and Stewart still studying.

Lennox and Stewart are subsequently seen drifting in a ship, with Stewart again playing the cello.

The movie ends with Lennox lying in bed, together with the final shot being a publication on a nightstand posture a cover like a record.

Sweet Dreams Lyrics ( Eurythmics )

Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This

Who Am I To Disagree?

I Travel The World And The Seven Seas

Everybody’s Looking For Something

Some Of Them Want To Use You

Some Of Them Want To Get Used By You

Some Of Them Want To Abuse You

Some Of Them Want To Be Abused

Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This

Who Am I To Disagree?

I Travel The World And The Seven Seas

Everybody’s Looking For Something

Hold Your Head Up, Keep Your Head Up, Movin’ On

Hold Your Head Up, Movin’ On, Keep Your Head Up, Movin’ On

Hold Your Head Up, Movin’ On, Keep Your Head Up, Movin’ On

Hold Your Head Up, Movin’ On, Keep Your Head Up

Some Of Them Want To Use You

Some Of Them Want To Get Used By You

Some Of Them Want To Abuse You

Some Of Them Want To Be Abused

Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This

Who Am I To Disagree?

I Travel The World And The Seven Seas
